Africa meets Spain - Issa Sow is the songwriter, composer and the voice of the Senegalese national ballett and a very active member of the West African music scene for over 20 years now. After the release of his highly acclaimed album „Voices from Heaven“ (2008) Ben Papst became the solo guitarist in Issa's European live band. Until today he is accompanying him on tour dates all over the continent.
The mutual joy in combining different styles of music led to an inspiring friendship and to a new two-man music project in which traditional African elements of music are irresistably combined with flamenco und latin sounds. The result is a charismatic and smooth yet powerful mixture which best unfolds its whole effect on stage.
